The MAI Community
​
The community at MAI is our support systems, idea incubators, virtual living rooms, and lifelines. Whether it’s discussing parenting hacks at 7 a.m, or planning an impromptu meetup, or cracking jokes about “What my toddler did today”, or just a normal venting out message, this is where the true spirit of our community lives.

We call these groups our Hubs and they reflect the beautiful range of our identities, passions, and lived experiences. From books to babies, careers to culture, fitness to festivals, each Hub is an invitation to show up, speak up, and grow with others who get it.

From what started as just one Watsapp group, has now over the years evolved into various sub-groups or Hubs to cover different facets in the lives of our AAI’s.

Age Based Hubs
What began as a single group has grown into three, thanks to hundreds of AAI members. We now have three groups based on the ages of your kiddos - Tiny Tots (Ages 0 - 2.5 years), Tots (Ages 2.5-5 years) and Elementary (Ages 5- 10 years)

Local Area Hubs
Location based hubs foster sisterhood among local communities across North America. You can find your local hub in the MAI community or request one, our admins will help set it up based on interest in your area.
Fitness Hub
For our AAI’s who constantly juggle between work, home and family, physical fitness is equally important. This group helps our AAI’s stay on track with their fitness goals, boost consistency and encourage them to push harder.
Bookclub
This is a virtual book club - Once Upon a MOM is for all the booklovers at MAI. The club meets once a month to connect, unwind, and share your thoughts around our Book of the Month - all in a warm, no-pressure space.
Career Hub
Whether you are starting your career journey, or restarting it after a career break, or are already thriving professionally but looking for a change, or simply want to make new professional connections, this space is for you!
Other MAI Hubs
You will find many dedicated hubs for topics related to parenting, Immigration, Traveling with Kids, Creating Books for Kids, and the Baby Stuff Library to better support the needs of our AAI members.
